Este "programa-tríptico" reúne tres notables obras cortas, meditaciones sobre la naturaleza del arte y los artistas que ostentan el singular y colorido estilo de collage de Parajanov, y que han sido recientemente restauradas: Frescos de Kiev (1966), que consiste en lo que quedó de las imágenes de un proyecto confiscado sobre el Kiev posterior a la Segunda Guerra Mundial; Hakob Hovnatanyan (1967), un homenaje al arte del pintor armenio del siglo XIX; y Arabescos sobre el tema Pirosmani (1986), que da vida a la obra lúdica del artista naif georgiano Niko Pirosmani.
