"De casualidad alguien me contó un chiste y me pareció muy adecuado adaptarlo y convertirlo en película". Así surgió "In golf we trust". La historia muestra a un golfista soberbio y mal hablado, tras varios intentos, no logra pegarle bien a la pelota y se enfurece con su caddie, un muchachito con cara de perro mojado que obedece fielmente a los pedidos de su patrón, pese al maltrato al que lo somete. Como era de esperar, al tratarse de un chiste, el final sorprende con un remate gracioso, que obviamente no será desvelado.
