Marisa Padrón, actriz protagonista de la película canaria LA HIJA DEL MESTRE, estrenada en 1928, estuvo varios años vinculada a la vida socio-cultural de Gran Canaria hasta que se recluyó definitivamente en la posguerra. A través de materiales de archivo únicos, el documental se acerca también a pintoras, escritoras y editoras de una revista que dinamitó el estrecho espacio asignado a las mujeres en la isla. (LPA Film Festival, 2022)
