Live From New York! explora los primeros años de “Saturday Night Live”, un experimento de un joven Lorne Michaels y su elenco de incógnitos, y sigue su evolución en una institución de comedia. La película considera a SNL como una cápsula del tiempo viviente, que abarca décadas de política estadounidense, medios de comunicación, tragedia y cultura popular con un toque irreverente.
