Este documental sobre el músico Gary Numan estudia uno de los fenómenos más esquivos y particulares que dieron los años 80. Estrella improbable, millonario inesperado (con avioneta), pionero de la electrónica y tío raro certificado (“nerd obsesivo”) del pop. Un filme que es también reality familiar de los Numan hoy, emigrados a Los Ángeles y revisitando su vida, desde aquella “personilla androide” de 1978 al cincuentón padre-de-tres con nuevo disco en proceso.
