La historia se retoma desde los últimos hechos acontecidos en la serie. Violet sigue trabajando como muñeca sin olvidar a Gilbert. En su camino se cruza Ulysse Yurith, un niño enfermo que le pide a la muñeca que redacte cartas de despedida para su familia. Además, Violet se topa con una carta que cambiará el destino de su vida. ¿Podría Gilbert haberse salvado y seguir vivo en algún lugar?
