En plena conmoción social y política una voz se alza en la montaña lanzando un mensaje de paz y no violencia. Su voz fue silenciada, sus palabras fueron denunciadas. Este humilde pensador ha tocado la vida de millones de personas en el mundo. ¿Cómo es que sigue siendo el secreto mejor guardado de los Andes? Para algunos es el pensador que impulsó un movimiento espiritual y político que venció las fronteras y se extendió desde Argentina hasta la India. Para otros es el líder de una secta, un hábil manipulador y demagogo. Para la mayoría, sigue siendo un misterio. A través de este largometraje documental nos proponemos narrar la vida y obra de este insólito personaje, planteando la inquietante pregunta: ¿quién es Silo?
