Un documental para "redescubrir" la llamada Capilla Sixtina de Arte Rupestre y contar la historia del descubrimiento de una cueva y unas pinturas que asombraron al mundo hace 138 años. El rodaje del documental llevo a su director José Luis López Linares por distintas cuevas rupestres del mundo recabando información sobre la vida del hombre del Magdaleniense -que vivió hace 20.000 años- y sobre una forma de creación artística, las pinturas, que, a su juicio, convierten a Altamira "en el Museo del Prado de la Prehistoria".
