En 2008, después de un desfile que celebraba el 20 aniversario de su casa de moda, Maison Margiela, el visionario diseñador Martin Margiela dejó el mundo de la moda para siempre. A lo largo de su carrera, el diseñador belga permaneció en el anonimato, rechazó las entrevistas y nunca fue fotografiado, lo que llevó a algunos a llamarlo la respuesta del mundo de la moda a Banksy. Ahora, más de una década después de su partida, Margiela indaga en sus archivos personales meticulosos e idiosincrásicos para reflexionar sobre su revolucionaria carrera y legado.
