Humorística y conmovedora mirada a un grupo de hombres que consiguen el éxito como miembros del equipo sueco de natación sincronizada. Lo que empieza como una actividad semanal para escapar de la rutina diaria y las responsabilidades familiares se convierte gradualmente en un compromiso mucho más serio. Esta formación, formada por conductores de trenes, carniceros, archiveros y profesores, pronto descubre que no es el único equipo masculino del mundo. Además, todos ellos ven que, por primera vez, está a punto de celebrarse el campeonato del mundo cuando muchos de ellos cumplen 40 años.
