Con el telón de fondo del 11 de septiembre, Meet Me In The Bathroom cuenta la historia de la última gran época romántica del Rock'n'Roll y cómo bandas como The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs e Interpol redefinieron una metrópolis en apuros y catalizaron Una generación. También participa en una exploración más amplia de la cultura juvenil y la modernidad; la transformación de la ciudad de Nueva York en la primera década del 2000 y las fuerzas culturales que la moldearon. Desde una Internet anterior a las redes sociales, el boom de las puntocom, el auge de Napster y la muerte de la industria de la música tradicional, hasta la gentrificación, la explosión de Vice y el hipster como fenómeno global. Este es un documental que se centra en las formas en que el mundo ha cambiado irrevocablemente en las décadas posteriores.
