Biografía
Julia Jean Mildred Frances Turner (Wallace, Idaho, 8 de febrero de 1921 - Los Ángeles, 29 de junio de 1995), conocida como Lana Turner, fue una actriz estadounidense, símbolo sexual de los años 40. Lana Turner nació el 8 de febrero de 1921, en Wallace, Idaho (Estados Unidos), pero pronto se trasladó con su familia a las costas de California. Con apenas 16 años ya era una mujer de gran belleza y físico rotundo; pero no era buena estudiante y no acudía a muchas clases. Así fue descubierta para el mundo del espectáculo. Un día en que se ausentó de una clase de mecanografía, fue vista por un cazatalentos mientras tomaba una bebida en un local público, y en poco tiempo fue puesta en contacto con el cómico Zeppo Marx, quien gestionaba una agencia de actores.
