Es una actriz y modelo estadounidense. Es más conocida por haber protagonizado la serie de televisión "La mujer biónica". Participó en varias series. Se convirtió en una estrella internacional de la televisión con "La mujer biónica", que le permitió ganar un premio Emmy. Se ha casado y divorciado cuatro veces: Allan Rider (1971-1973); Michael Brandon (1976-1979); Henry Kingi (1981-1984), con quien tuvo dos hijos, y con Lawrence Mortorff (1990-1993).
