Biografía
En 1956, junto con Vilmos Zsigmond, filmó la rebelión popular contra el régimen comunista. Con el material grabado editarían un documental. Empezó como operador en películas de serie B. Su reconocimiento llegó con Easy Rider. Después llegarían Shampoo (1975), de Hal Ashby, New York, New York (1977), de Martin Scorsese, Los cazafantasmas (1984), de Ivan Reitman, La boda de mi mejor amigo (1997), de P. J. Hogan...
